Hey guys! Sorry for not updating frequently as many things happen in the same time it took most of my time to settle it. Everything is going well now but am gonna face a challenge soon that will turn my world if it succeed. I just have to stay positive and everything will be alright!

So I thought why not have a New Year resolution and goals to keep me in a uncomfortable so that I constantly improve myself as well as making my life more meaningful and not regret in the future. I wanna be strong and live happy!

So I'm gonna list down some of it.

1. I'm in the process of getting my work visa so that I can stay in NZ and go towards my goal and I WILL GET IT!

2. Surprisingly NZ doesn't have any POP Pilates class yet! So this year my plan is to open a class in any gym or studio and start teaching once a week! I'm gonna be the 1st POP Pilates instructor in NZ! Any popsters in NZ pls feel free to contact me and have a meetup!

3. Maybe going back to some studies? Planning to get a wine course or fitness course to improve my knowledge as well as leveling up myself. I was quite less confidence person so I wanna be more confidence from the inside and outside as well.

4. Travel back to Korea as my bf has not back since quite a well and I know he misses his family very much. Is not a easy task as you all thought cos we are in a beginning of journey here and everything seems to be unstable. But we will work out eventually!

5. Go to gym 6x a week! I have been doing that now actually but sometimes feel inconsistently. Wanna make my body goal in this year 2017 and set it as a goal! I'm not trying to be someone else but to build the body that I wanted to and only me.

6. Be a good girlfriend to my bf as well as a good friend to bestie that still in contact. I wanna appreciate what I have now and anted to build a stronger relationship to them.

I think that is all for now! by end of this year I'm gonna look back to this post and see how many I have achieve and I believe I will succeed. Wish you all a very good 2017 and let's strive to our goals!


  

Just wanna let you know that is gonna be a long post so grab yourself some snack and drinks while reading HAHA!


Today was my 3rd day going to the gym and I'm really loving it. I always feel anxious whenever I'm going to a new place with new environment surround with total strangers around. So as gym but today I've become stronger and confident to enter the gym, wearing gym outfits as I l want, finish my workout feeling like a second home. And I thought back 4 years ago how I was pulling myself to the gym and how I was today, I thought why not sharing my experience to girls out there who are shy or embarrassed to even enter the gym and give more confidence to you.

Before I started, let me take you back to 4 years ago who I was not even a fitness lover. I hated workout. Truthfully I was lazy to HAHA. I was not fat but I'm surprisingly quite heavy and I have a huge hip. I have always wanted to lose weight to gain body balance but I was lazy to workout. (anyway I will talk about this topic on the other time)

4 years ago I did signed up for a gym. I don't even know how was it based on how I was super anxious to even enter the gym and talking with the trainer there. I was really nervous and anxious while entering so I brought a friend with me to think I will have a partner with me but she didn't sign up anyway HAHA. I was really convinced by the trainer to lose weight and tone my body up as he told me that he train pageants and other celebrity (yeah that's how you fall for it HAHA) obviously I was SOLD. I sign up for the gym package and get myself a trainer because... I've never been to gym, I know nothing about equipment (barbell? what that's? ringing bell? HAHA) yeah I was exactly like that, a noob newbie. AND I started.

Seriously I was not motivated, at all. I went to the gym on my 1st day and he ask me to warm up at the treadmill which I hated it. I hate walking and running that's why I never go for treadmill. He gave me some workout which I felt so difficult, I can't even lift myself up and I felt like a loser. I just feel that I'm sucks. So you might think how do I feel anxious?  I stick to my trainer all the time, I felt super scared when he left me alone and felt like people was looking at me which I'm over thinking HAHA. If you feel the same way as I am, don't be! Obviously nobody is looking at you! Nobody is even bother to care about you as they are struggling on their rep maybe HAHA.

After my personal trainer session was over, I was all by myself. And do you know what happen? Yeap, I gave free donation every month as I didn't go to the gym. I pay every month as usual but didn't fully utilized it. By the way actually I did. I went to the gym for a time and I was super scared plus really shy to ask the staff on how to use the machine. In the end I stuck for a 30 min wandering around and out of it. I was really shy. I was scared with people around me, feeling that people are watching how sucks my movement are, or shy to ask for help or even showering there omg how hilarious I am back then. And I got scam by the gym urgh. (is a long story)

Fast forward to today, I have found workout that I really enjoy, POP Pilates and comes to lifting weights. I started at home with dumbbells that I bought, slowly building myself up and learning proper forms and I love it!



So when I came to NZ, I was happy that the apartment I stay has a gym with few machines and I was like yay! got to use some machines for the 1st time! But guess what? I chicken out. I was shy and nervous. Recall how I didn't dare to go to my previous gym actually makes me feels that I'm not capable to do it. I was such a failure that's what I thought. So I actually posted on my instagram asking for some motivation to the gym and I was really blessed with people encouragement to go for it. Someone even told me to put on my headphone blasting loud music and enter to your own world HAHA!

I'm giving myself lots of excuses. I told myself everyday that I'm not feeling good, oh I need to poop, OH I'm finding some motivation or I think I need to feed my sheep and cow and I will have no time blah blah blah to avoid the gym. And I realize I was really funny HAHA! So I didn't go straight to the gym when I know I have the access because I was really scare and shy. It was not easy for me and I know lots of people out there feel the same as I am. But be confident. Tell yourself is gonna be fine, nobody is gonna watch you, you will be fine, that's what the gym was suppose to be for people to workout regardless how good they are or how many squats you can do, it doesn't matter at all. You are You and you are competing with yourself, not others.

So 1 day I pull my confidence up and drag myself to the gym and I was surprised to saw people in the gym. I was like OMG WHY GOD and I wanna go back now. Stunning there for a few seconds and I walk to the treadmill. My mind was spinning and telling myself is PIIT today, I gotta do it,I can't ruin my schedule, I need to do it. I calm myself down and eventually roll my mat down and go for it. and that's how I was not afraid anymore! Of cos there are people around me and I have to move some space but surprisingly I finish my workout smoothly! From that day onwards, I was not afraid anymore to go the gym with my workout clothes that I wanted to wear or carrying my dumbbells with me, I just feel awesome! Same goes to the gym center now which I sign up for 2 days ago and I feel like a prep before I go for a bigger gym! I feel so confidence going to the gym and I was way more knowledge as I used to about machines and started to use weights like a pro HAHA. Everything is running smoothly!

And today I'm looking forward everyday to get myself to the gym and workout, is like a second home to me. 2 things I would like to share with you are 1. get yourself a headphone and turn it loud with awesome songs and wear your confidence with you every time and you will be alright. If you are a 1st timer going to the gym, my advise is to just DRAG DRAG DRAG YOURSELF to the gym and you will be ok. Always the 1st step that makes the difference, don't cha think? Once you are able to go the gym for the 1st time, you are eventually got it! You will not be afraid of it and concentrate on building the body you want and makes it into your lifestyle!

Woke up early yesterday but is so cold out there and I wouldn't wanna leave my bed haha! Decided to stay on the bed but bf drag me up and suggest to go for mountain hiking which, I don't wanna HAHA!! do you understand the feeling of comfy-ness on the bed in such a cold day? Well you decided to dream more! I was eventually got drag out from the house and since is a good weather, it might be a perfect day to go as is always raining here.

Somehow I manage myself in a cold weather because unlike the outskirts, city area are warmer compare to it. I'm still able to wear short sleeve with jacket on without freezing myself so is cool.

It was an almost 30 min walk to Mountain Eden but if you wanna take a train over is fine too but bf likes to walk so get the deal, we are walking to it. Reminded me to play pokemon go while walking, turn on the incense and bam! I got lots of new pokemon haha! I'm not too obsesses over this game so it took me quite a while to get to lvl 9! Bf doesn't play at all so it was really nice that he's checking on the surrounding for me! Nope he doesn't stop me from playing even though he doesn't play it and sometimes he wants to catch pokemon too! (when I found 1)

Climbing up was quite tiring but it was really not as far as I expected! Is like a 10 min walk up and you reach the mountain! The scenery was really BEAUTIFUL. I was amaze and shock when I see this


The volcano cone. It was amazing. I was really blown by the view. Is not that clear as my photograph skill is bad sorry :( but you can see up the hill that people are very small so you can imagine how high and far it is. I sat there, look at this beautiful volcano cone, to realize how small am I in this lovely nature.

And it wasn't really cold! You must be thinking that this girl is crazy because she wear a shorts with leggings without a jacket too! It was cooling! Speaking of it, THE FRESH AIR OMG you can't get this in Singapore haha!

Ate some chips haha! Bf was so smart that he knew we will be here relaxing so he brought chips along!

It was a wonderful experience and wish to be able to travel to the other part of NZ to see more beautiful nature. Can't wait to play around! We are planning to get some crazy activities after we settle ourselves down. Maybe sky diving or bungee jumps! Once in a life time so is a must!

Today's weather was very sunny so after lunch, we went for a walk down to Ponsonby street. It was really sunny today despite raining almost everyday, so it was happy to see the weather become better. Going to Ponsonbytos check the cafe that my bf's friend recommend and also to check some bars as there are lots of bars and clubs located there. Was looking for a job so yeah nothing wrong to have a look at it.

It was quiet than I expected. Not much people walking around, no cars driving around, lots of empty landed house but surprisingly it was cozy and relaxing. I think that's what people always talk about NZ, slow pace and relaxing country even if is only like 20-30 min walks from CBD area.

Is winter now and 1st I was imagine that it will snow in Auckland but no! Is not snowing but it is super cold and especially windy! Imagine is cold and windy but is not snowing :(

So we reach the cafe that my bf's friend recommend. It was cute on the inside but by that time it was close so couldn't really show you all. It closes at 3pm which is super early though is normal here. The coffee here is great!


We sat outside because the views and atmosphere is cozy and chilling. But in 10 min later, I was so regret that I ordered ice mocha because I was freezing like shit haha!

We saw a nice supermarket at Ponsonby so we went it and take a look! Look at the cheese varietiesssss. It was crazy lots! Is slightly different from the supermarket at CBD as the items here are selling slightly more expensive but the varieties are quite rare or should I say better quality?  because you can't really get all there at CBD's supermarket.

At Victoria park on the way back home! Had a long walk at Ponsonby and it definitely different from central! It feels so much comfy as I said and I really enjoy it. I might think is a good place to stay at but the houses was like crazy expensive @@
