And it snows on that day! It was the first snow in Seoul and it's beautiful. It was also the first snow in my life. Simply gorgeous, and cold too.





Time seems to past so fast. The past 1 year was not easy for us. Before I came here, we were in a long distance relationship. I was at Singapore and he's at Korea. Between these periods, we misses each other so much but unable meet was sucks. We call and message everyday, thanks to Kakaotalk we save a lot in international calls.

Having separated not long after we started dating, parents disagreement, language barrier, culture difference and also our own personalities. People said relationship is easy to start, but never easy to maintain. I always thought after we separate, things gonna change. I got scared, what if he meets new girl? Or his parents giving him pressure in our relationship? Or he's getting used to his own country and never wanna be with me anymore? So many questions keep popping in my mind and I couldn't get answer in it, that was the worst.

But hell we gone through, with love and faith, think positively in the future, understanding between each other even though we got into some disagreement, and also trust in each other.



This is how we come today. Happy 1 year anniversary baby and hope for more and more years to go. :D

Obviously today I'm gonna talk about kimchi. Currently living in Korea, is impossible to avoid kimchi.

Everywhr is kimchi. I MEAN EVERYWHERE. Wherever you go, restaurant u going into, friends house for lunch/dinner, bentos, or even hawker stall. Even u don't see kimchi, there's always kimchi flavour food.

My bf told me that kimchi is something very important to the koreans and till now I just cannot understand. (Hahaha sorry to the koreans) But I must admit that

KIMCHI IS DELICIOUS.


I started to eat kimchi after I came to Singapore and met my boyfie. And yes, our 1st outing is in a korean restaurant. I always thought that it was my 1st meeting with kimchi but I was wrong. I actually met kimchi long long time ago.

That was like few years ago when I was 8 wtf.  There's this korean family neighbour and the mum and her son likes me a lot. Especially his son wtf. On that time I have no interest for Korea nor korean so I don't really care much.

Ok sorry back to the topic, there was this 1 time they gave us 3 big box of #idonknowwhatisthat and now I realize that that was KIMCHI.  But I was picky on food on that time and that smell was too strong that me and my mum had to threw it away. Sorry for throwing kimchi away I know it was my fault and I love kimchi now.

I was lucky that I get to see how kimchi are made! My bf''s mum bring me along to her eonni house to help her make kimchi. It was complicated. There were so many preparation and is cold at the outside. Boyfie told me that every winter season, korean start to make new kimchi for next year. It means making kimchi enough for 1 year! Normally they make kimchi once a year but sometimes twice a year it depends on the amount they make every time. I ask him why it has to be made on winter season and he just simply told me that winter is a good season for kimchi. =.=


1st of all, buy vegetables. 1 whole year round of napa cabbage. To tahan till next winter season.
Then start to cut vegetables and remove the roots.









So this is how they make kimchi. After everything is mix, you start to mix napa cabbage with kimchi 1 by 1 and placed it in a container. Let it ferment around 1-2 months until it taste sour and kimchi is done!!

Actually you can eat it after is done but the taste will not be there yet as kimchi is a fermented vegetables. It needs time to ferment till it taste sour and spicy.

I have a lot of fun though! Bf's aunt even cook lots of sliced pork so that we can eat samgyeopsal! Ah it was so nice eating fresh kimchi and napa cabbage!!


So that's how I fell in love with kimchi more than ever.

The number is important to me because is my Birthday! This year birthday was suppose to celebrate with my mum because is my 21st birthday but I'm currently at Seoul now so she only able to wish me through phone. Thanks mummy :)

Nothing much happen on that day because my bf was tired from work and we got disappointed by some matter. So is much of a bad day for me #thanksgodforthepresent :(

So the day before my birthday I went to my bf's working place on the night cos I wanted to see his working place and is also his 1st time working on the night shift. While I was busy watching show, suddenly he came out with a birthday cake!

I was shock.

Part of it is because of the surprise and part of it is because is still 30/10/2013. Hahaha.

Hello peeps! Is been a long time since I touch this blog. I think my last post was on 2012? Man that was long and I'm so sorry for the lack of update. I have been busy all these while but I'm back for now! Will try to update from now on. :)

So? Where should I start? Malaysia? Singapore? Work? Relationship? Life? Korea? Vacation?

Yes all those are conclude in my 1 whole year life. So much to update huh?

1st of all, after I got my last post uploaded, which was on the August I went to Singapore for work. I send my resume to lot of hotels and yes I got employed by Hilton Singapore. So off I went for lots of preparation like passport, working permit, room, and of cos Cash in hand.

Yes it was tough at 1st, my job, environment and also money. I had to suffer for 1 month due to my paid was so less that I barely even to have nice food everyday. (My money was gone after I paid for the rent)
Normally if I have morning shift, I will skip breakfast and have lunch and dinner at my working place. (They provide meal) If I have afternoon shift, of cos I will wake up on the afternoon and have instant noodle for lunch and dinner in hotel.

I don't wanna went too specific or else is gonna be a long long post hahahha wtf. Will try to write into different posts after I settle with the photos. *finger crossed*

Anyway I quit my job and now I'm currently at Seoul, Korea. And NO, I can't speak korean nor understand except "I love you" hahahahha. I've already stay here for almost a month and still searching for job so that I can stay longer because my bf is here and I don't wanna separate with him again :'(
