The aunties were preparing all the dishes while I start to enjoy the food on nom nom.

And I overheard a conversation between my uncle and his angmoh friend. 

Angmoh: What is this? *holding a lettuce*

Uncle: This is lettuce. After you eat this, you will become lively!

Angmoh: Huh?!

Uncle: In cantonese we call this 'shang coi'! 'Shang' means life! So after you eat this you will become very lively!!!

At that moment, I almost spit out every bit of my food and start to burst out loud laughing non stop. hahaha. Lame joke of the day. 

Later on, is my mum's turn. Again I was just beside my mum when we lousang and I heard a conversation again. The chinese always shout "Huat la!' when lousang because that means prosperity. And this angmoh start asking question again.

Angmoh: What is the word you all shouting?

Mum: 'HUAT LA!'

Angmoh: What??

Mum: 'HUAT LAAAAAA!!'

Angmoh: 'WHAT LA???!!'

HAHAHA. Lesson of the day, never underestimate the mandarin cos that's how the english came from wtf. 

And the next day, we start visiting to relatives house for angpao! Finally I got a cheongsam to wear!! I always wanted to wear but the dress were too exp and only wearable once a year else you wanna wear on ghost festival. Good luck.

And my camera just die. It just had to die on the 1st day. And I forgot to bring the charger with me =.=

The rest of the day was just visiting here and there. The weather was super hot and I keep on sweating non stop. Ipoh is hotter than KL. On the last day we gamble a lot! It was the 1st time I gamble because I was never have luck in gamble. I always lose in game and money and I told myself mai gamble just tengok sua la. 

But guess wat? Loser u all I won RM20 out of RM1 ha! I have to leave early else I win lot!! Am gonna gamble again on chu 8 la!
